Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are normally allowed at this location. Please check each particular event for details though since some events have different requirements.

Safety Notice:
Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal or handgun cartridges over .45 cal are allowed.

None on site but there is plenty of BLM land available along the Pecos River within a 10 minute drive

Directions:
Proceed North of Roswell on N Main St, which is also US 285. Just before the overpass, take US 70 East toward Portales (Exit to the Right). Continue East on on US 70 for approximately 3.5 miles to sign post for (Capitan Road). Just beyond this sign is the turn-off (on the right). You will see the gate and the Roswell Gun Club Sign. The gravel road leads to the range complex. We'll be on range #2

Bring out your 22s and gain valuable marksmanship skills without using up your expensive center fire ammo but centerfires are welcome. Capacity is limited to 20 shooters, be sure to get your spot quickly.
Comments: There are latrine facilities available but no running water, no food or drink available.
