Safety Notice:
Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal or handgun cartridges over .45 cal are allowed.
Range Fee:
$5 a day per person.
Camping Available:
Primitive available onsite at the range.
Hotels:
White Buffalo Motel, Albia; Several hotels in Knoxville, IA within about 20-25 miles.
Directions:
From Albia: Hwy 5 North to Left turn (West) on 139th trail. Follow 139th 4.7 miles. Range is on left side of road. Double gate just beyond the road.
From Knoxville: Hwy 5 South to Right turn (West) on W 19th St, (W 19th turns into 120th street) 3.2 miles to left turn (South) on 565 Trail. Left turn (Southeast) onto H20, next right (South) to continue on 565 Trail. 1 mile to left turn (East) on 139th Trail. Range is on right side of road. Drive on 565 for about one mile - double gate just beyond the road.
