    Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are normally allowed at this location. Please check each particular event for details though since some events have different requirements.

    Safety Notice:

    Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal or handgun cartridges over .45 cal are allowed.

    Not onsite. Nearby at Natalbany Creek on Hwy 16 (phone- 985-748-4311)
    and at Sweetwater on N. Cooper in Loranger, LA (phone - 985-878-6868).

    Directions:

    From Interstate 55, take Exit #40 (LA 40/Independence); proceed East on LA 40 for 1.3 miles; turn Left (North) onto US-51; proceed for 4.6 miles; Turn Right onto Storey Rd. Signs to the Range will be posted (the road jogs left and then turns right; the range is at the end of the road on the left).

    Centerfire welcome - bring your .22 and save on ammo costs - or bring both.

    The firing line is not covered; pop-up tents welcome. There is no food or drink service on site so bring your own lunch.

    No alcohol permitted.
